JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for performing operational support duties of the Bank facilities. Ensures that all Bank facilities, properties and office service functions operate effectively and efficiently; maintains schedule of building maintenance; processes service requests for main bank office complex and branches and respective departments and ensures that requests are completed in a timely fashion.
Assures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Conducts daily operational duties with regards to routine maintenance and servicing of the Bank’s facilities, to include furniture and equipment, landscaping, maintenance, janitorial and cleaning services, vending services, office moves and employee relocations; assists in the origination and maintenance of service schedules; requires some purchasing activities; facilitates work orders of outside contractors, services and vendors; maintains related records; ensures security and safety issues are properly addressed and maintained; documents the receipt and storage of office equipment, materials and supplies.
2. Helps coordinate and maintain schedules for routine maintenance and service work schedules of vendors, contractors and service providers; arranges the delivery of services, supplies and equipment to maintain proper inventory levels; documents the receipt and storage of office equipment, materials and supplies; organizes records of systems and associated maintenance; assists in the monitoring of servicing and lease agreements; reviews invoices to validate contractual obligations; ensures quality, maintenance and performance standards are maintained.
3. Completes courier tasks as needed; deliver items to bank locations and/or customers
4. Responsible for maintenance and operation of the bank’s backup generators and automatic transfer switches
5. Assists in the coordination of site, building, safety and security inspections to ensure facilities are operated in a safe manner; corresponds with city, county, state and federal government agencies as required; ensures identified deficiencies are corrected by engaging the appropriate party.
6. Follows policies, procedures and completes annual training; completes administrative tasks correctly and in a timely manner; supports the Bank’s goals and values.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Facilities Specialist is not responsible for the supervision of any employee(s).
JOB QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
• 2 years of facility general maintenance experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of experience. Work-related experience must consist of facilities, purchasing and general construction support background.
• May need to be called after hours, weekends, or holidays in case of emergencies
• A Valid Driver’s license is required.
• Candidate must have reliable transportation to travel between bank locations upon need or request.
• Basic knowledge of related cities, county, state and federal building codes, laws and regulations.
PHYSICAL WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The incumbent is in a non-confined office type setting in which he or she is free to move about at will. The position includes driving of the time which includes exposure to the outside weather elements and moving mechanical parts. It may include some minor annoyances such as noise, odors, drafts, etc.
The incumbent, in the course of performing this position spends time speaking, listening, lifting (up to 50lb.), driving, carrying, seeing (such as close, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusted focus), sitting, pulling, walking, standing, squatting, kneeling and reaching.
The incumbent for this position may operate any or all the following: various types of mechanical equipment required in the daily maintenance of the Bank facilities; a truck; other transport equipment, lawn equipment; and other equipment as directed.
