Job Summary:
As IT Support, assist the IT Manager in network and server administration. Assist in ensuring the streamlined operation set forth by the IT Manager and the Chief Operations Officer is in alignment with the business objectives of the organization.
Essential Job Functions:
• Support activities in the IT department for seamless operation and reliability of all IT systems, infrastructure, and services.
• Support the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and upgrade including telecommunications, servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, and software equipment.
• Assist with provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services.
• Work with the IT Manager to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations and keep current with the latest technological trends and best practices.
• Ensure adherence to IT policies and procedures and regulatory compliance.
Education & Job Qualifications:
• Associate degree along with 2-3 years’ computer experience in banking; preferred.
• Work related experience should consist of an operational and/or technical background in data processing, products or services.
• Intermediate skills in data processing and information technology operations, voice and data communications, database management, troubleshooting techniques, user and software support; including but not limited to, mainframe, host and desktop applications and network administrative programs and resources.
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Other Desired Skills and Abilities:
• Multi-lingual capabilities to include Spanish are a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
• Travel – as needed.
